Take a look at some of the yard transformations our clients have enjoyed. All of the "after" pictures are mockups depicted to show full grown plants after establishment.
Green Hills Shade Garden
New homeowners in Green Hills inherited an area in their front yard that had become an overgrown mess of iris and weeds. They longed for a more aesthetically pleasing garden that would provide some cut flowers and coordinate with the cottage garden style in the adjacent foundation beds. A mix of full to partial shade, we found the right mix of low maintenance, mostly native plants to provide some color and cuttings.

East Nashville Low Mow Yard
This East Nashville family was looking to clean up the overgrown shrubs they had inherited with a low mow, low maintenance meadow-like design. We preserved a small lawn for their Christmas display that they can more easily maintain with an electric mower, and flanked it mostly native plants whose flowers pollinators, passersby, and the family can all enjoy.

Sylvan Park No Mow Backyard
This Sylvan Park backyard had a great structure and was just longing for the right plants to make it come alive. An area for vegetable gardening and additional pathways were added and then filled in with native plants to provide all season interest.

Franklin Foundation Flowers and Greenery
These Franklin homeowners had already cleared out previously unhealthy and overgrown plants and didn't know where to start with their green palette. We amped up their curb appeal with a mix of shrubs, perennials and annuals to provide seasonal interest and plenty of color and cut flowers.

East Nashville Sandbox Alternative
This family with young children wanted to create a whimsical play area for their toddlers to play. We designed this "rockbox" as an alternative to sand, complete with an umbrella for shade and a ledge on which the toddlers could sit.

12 South Backyard Privacy Hedge
Located on the corner of two alleys, this spacious backyard provided great possibilities but lacked privacy. The homeowners' original landscaping had not thrived; most of the trees were not thriving and they had lost shrubs that lacked resilience to a hard freeze. We selected native, fast growing tulip poplar trees and a hedge of schipka laurels to hide the chainlink fence as well as provide privacy from neighboring buildings.

East Nashville Japanese and Native Fusion Front Yard
The majestic Japanese Maple is one of the attributes that drew in these new homeowners, but they needed help to make it shine and wanted to create a sustainable, no mow front yard. We introduced more balance with foundation shrubs and brought in a mix of Japanese and native plants to complement the maples while also creating a natural habitat.
